He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Barngrover; and his parents, Cassius Andrew Barngrover Sr. and Grace Barngrover (Neely). He is survived by: his children, Sherry Meggison (Gary), Clyde Barngrover Jr. (Hazel), Sharon K. Spreer and Clayton Barngrover Sr. Clyde; his grandchildren, Jason Meggison, Stacey Mirch (Jamie), Chelsea Meggison, Misty Ballinger (Dan), Christy Reed, Eric Spreer (Jennifer), Laycee Spreer, Clayton Barngrover J., Dusty Gruber (Chrissy) and Jaydyn Gardner; his siblings, Cassius Barngrover, Jr. (Janice), Betty Jones, Bertha Weaver, William "Bill" Barngrover and Jeannie Gay; and his grandson Justin Spreer. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
