Daniel will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Daniel by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Daniel is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Daniel’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Saunders and Thelma Saunders (Dobbins); and his wife Barbara Mack. He is survived by: his children, Randy Saunders, Gregory Saunders and Kelly Vawter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Town and Country Christian Church (4925 SW 29th St, Topeka, KS 66614).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice.
