He is survived by: his parents, Wilma Darlene (Place) and Truman Dorce "Jack" Hamer; his children, Mark Hamer (Patricia) of Omaha, Denise Charland (Graham) of New Bedford and Wanda Hamer of Fairhaven, Massachusetts; his granddaughters, Charlotte Hamer (Meaghan) of New Bedford, Jessica Galligan (Cassidy) of New Bedford and Amy Galligan (Tyree) of Fairhaven, Massachusetts; and his siblings, Darrell Hamer (Diane) of Thornton and Pamela Fay of Abilene, Kansas. He is also survived by several nephews, a niece; extended family members, and friends.
