David Leon Adkins Obituary
The memory of David Leon Adkins of Topeka, Kansas, born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Otis and Katherine Leona Adkins (Gustafson); and his brother Gary Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Brown (Jeff) and Eric; his grandsons, Tyler of Topeka and Zachary Brown of Topeka; and his siblings, Barbara Davis (Joe), Max Adkins (Susan), Dan Adkins (Judy) and Don Adkins (late Remy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (524 Pennsylvania Ave, Holton, KS 66436). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Family Life Church of the Nazarene (1211 NW 46th St, Topeka, KS 66618).
