David Edward Herzog Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Edward Herzog of Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Herzog and Roberta J. Herzog (Tongue); and his son Brian Herzog. He is survived by: his children, Matthew R. Herzog (Jessica) of Manhattan and Jennifer Hettinger (John) of Littleton, Colorado; his grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Gabrielle, Kaiden, Logan and Sawyer; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Mackenzie and Richard; his siblings, Michael Herzog (Judy) of Leavenworth and Carole Schumacher of Lakeland, Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Allison Herzog and Jeff Schumacher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or First Assembly of God Mission Hills Campus.
