It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delorse K. Oko of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Delorse shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Delorse farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloria Brown and George Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Antoinette Latif and Aurora Brown; her siblings, Michael Brown, Noel Brown and Patricia Barnes; and her great-aunt Mae Francis Oliver. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many cousins, great nieces, and nephews.
