He is survived by: his wife Roi Celeste Thompson; his children, Matt Hewitt of Council Grove, Tami Hewitt of Abilene, Thomas Hewitt of Emporia and Lindsey Patnode (Colby) of Council Grove; his grandchildren, Hailey Hewitt (Gavin Spittles) of Council Grove, Tierney Hewitt, Ellison and Walker Patnode of Council Grove; his siblings, Pam Gordon of Alta Vista, Stanley Hewitt (Deb) of Alta Vista, Carla Kormanik (Joe) of Alta Vista, Mark Hewitt (Lori) of Topeka and Russel Hewitt (Sherry) of Eureka; his mother-in-law Shirley Pape (Carol) of Council Grove; and his sisters-in-law, Crystal Fosdick (Jim) of Fort Pierce, FL, Angelina Zimmerman (Roger) of Alta Vista and Tiffani Erichsen (Terry) of Alta Vista. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
