It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deondo Dushawn Russell of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his child Tanshanikqua Russell of Topeka, KS; the mother of his child Valarie Brown of Oklahoma; his children, Deonce Russell, Kieshawn Russell and Savanah Russell of Texas; the mother of his children Cynthia Goode; his stepmother Brenda Russell of Kansas City, KS; his grandmother Ellen Benson of Colorado; his mother Teresa Brown of Topeka, KS; his grandmother Pearl Hamilton of Georgia; and his siblings, Gavin Russell (Sharita) of Maryland, Tyya Russell of Topeka, KS., Ahmara Russell of Topeka, KS. and Tirzatha Russell of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Foundry Event Center (400 SW 33rd St, Topeka, KS 66611).
