He was predeceased by: his sisters, Pat Mahoney and Alice Lloyd; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Quinn McCaffrey. He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie McCaffrey (Brian) of Lawrence, KS and Jodie Winfrey (Brad) of Prairie Village, KS.; and his grandchildren, Brandon McCaffrey (Hannah), Maddie Whatley (Lucas), Simon McCaffrey and Emmerson Winfrey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to one of the following: The Topeka High Historical Society, The Ichabod Athletic Fund - Football Program Fund or The Kansas Children's Discovery Center.
