Dolores Aleta Wells Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Dolores Aleta Wells of Topeka, Kansas. Dolores, born on July 17, 1935, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ekart and Genevieve Ekart; her former husband Marvin Ginter; her grandson Chris Ginter; and her siblings, Delbert Ekart, Raymond Ekart and Katie Ekart.
She is survived by: her children, Curt Ginter (Mary), Kim Weaver (Mark) and Lisa Brainard (Dave); her grandchildren, Nicolle Greene (James), Lindsay Dupigny-Leigh (Mike), Landan Ashton, Daine Weaver (Arianna), Nicole Elliott (Patrick) and Kristen Ward (Brian); and her brothers, Sylvester Ekart, David Ekart and Donald Ekart. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Kidney Foundation (https://support.kidney.org), Davita Dialysis, or the Breast Cancer Foundation.
