She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Peterson and Vernal Peterson; her brothers, Leonard and Gene; her husband Joseph L'Heureux (Papa Joe); and her great grandchild Michael Stava-Creek.
She is survived by: her daughter Lazon Sommer; her grandchildren, Earl Pinkston Jr. (Becky), Tina Lonnis (John) and Ronda Kraus (Leroy); and her great grandchildren, Jessie (Carrie), Earl III (Elizabeth), Tami (Montana), Coltyn, Courtney (Brandon), Ashton (Megan) and Kymberly. She is also survived by fourteen great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Parker-Price and Davidson Cremations and Funerals (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
