It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Kuckelman of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Kuckelman (Sauer); and his siblings, Helen Thompson (Bill), Leonard (Betty), Karl (Mary), John and Jerry.
He is survived by: his father John Kuckelman; his brother Claire; his sisters-in-law, Carol of Olathe, Virginia Kuckelman and Wilma Kuckelman; his children, Kathy Woolpert (Bruce), Susan Morrison, Tom (Meredith), Sara Criswell (Sam) and Tim (Liz); and his grandchildren, Jamie Bonneville (Russell), John Towle (Sarah), Mike Towle (Olivia), Robin Young, Lisa Birks (Josh), Corey Miller (Dani), Casey Gasper (Stephen), Steven Kuckelman (Tess), Kristin Savage (Cameron), Nora Browne (Thom), Ellarie Woolpert, Ian Kuckelman and Jennifer Kuckelman. He is also survived by his 18 great-grandchildren, his one great-great grandchild, and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Don's memory to Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where he was a faithful parishioner for more than 50 years.
