He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wietharn and Irmena Wietharn (Rettele); his brothers, Galen, Marion and Albert; his great grandchildren, Blayke Farrell and Theo Baker; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Burger, Lee Heideman and Robert Lierz.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Michael Wietharn, Douglas Wietharn St (Mary), Jacqueline Siess, Tamera Steinlage (Steve), Timothy Wietharn (Shauna) and Chris Wietharn; and his siblings, Phyllis Burger, Dee Heideman, Bill Wietharn (Kay), Jane Niehaus (Frank), Gerri Lierz, Lynn Wietharn (Ruth), Keith Wietharn (Judy), Sue Wassenburg (Bob), Darlene Slattery (Jerry) and Max Wietharn. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
