He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley A. Pfeifer; his wife Eva Dean (Roy); his children, Michelle Carney-Horst (Vince) of Overland Park, Kansas, Kim VanDonge of Topeka, Kansas, Melissa Gallegos (William Montgomery) of Topeka, Kansas, Kristin Lockhart (Jason) of Perry, Kansas and Kurtis VanDonge (Andie) of Topeka, Kansas; his stepson Chris Dean of Shawnee, Kansas; and his siblings, Delores Beam of Circleville, Kansas and Danny VanDonge (Shirley) of Havensville, Kansas.
