She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kotapish and Clara Kotapish (Broxterman); her husband Fredrick "Dean" Hillis; and her sister LaVon Young. She is survived by: her children, Scott Hillis (Michelle) of Clayton and Stacey Elskamp (Randy) of Topeka; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Madison and Alec.
