She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Z. Rodriguez and Juanita Rodriguez; her close friend Paul; her husband Marcus Mendez; and her siblings, Mary Palomo, Joe Rodriguez, Margaret Rodriguez Fajardo and Guadalupe Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Marcus Mendez, Jr. and Janice Mendez; and her grandchildren, Jessica Mendez, Matthew Cole, Marcus Mendez III, Alicia Mumford (Cordell), Andrea Mendez, Tiffany Jackson (Anthony), Felicia "Pookie" Lopez and Michelle Lopez. She is also survived by 12 loving great grandchildren.
