He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Vlieger and Bernice Vlieger; and his brother Bill Vlieger. He is survived by: his brothers, Francis "Bud" Vlieger (Darla) of Fulton, SD, Dick Vlieger of Topeka, KS and Eldon Vlieger of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, a nephew and many cousins.
