In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Herman and Mary Herman; his brother Rudy Junior; and his daughter Lori Packingham (Bryan). He is survived by: his children, Craig Herman (Jennifer) and Amy Herman; his grandchildren, Danica Packingham, Leah Packingham, Mariah Beck (Conner), Calli Herman and Rebecca Townsend; and his wife Carol Herman (Tilzey). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610).
