He is survived by: his child Corky; his wife Rita Acker; his daughters, Shelley Harcrow (Ed) and Tina Wirtz; his brother Jerome "Chub" Acker; Corky. He is also survived by three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one great-great-granddaughter; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Piper Funeral Home (714 Maple St, St Marys, KS 66536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made payable to Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS 66536, which will be donated in Corky's memory to various military-related organizations.
