He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Franklin Jr. and Louella Franklin; his son Adam Franklin; and his brother Charles Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Franklin; his children, Jay Franklin (Julie), Katie Otto (Bill), James Franklin and Jeremy Franklin; and his brother Rod Franklin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
