He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hatch and Grace Goodrick Hatch; his wife Irene Cook; his grandson Brian Hlad; and his siblings, Dorene Smith and Marvin Hatch.
He is survived by: his children, Bernetta Hlad (Jerry), Tim Hatch (Parrian), Charlie Hatch (Carmen) and Loreena Potts (Randy); and his siblings, Elaine Platt, Gary Hatch and Dennis Hatch. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Lena Valley Cemetery (3819 Dd Rd, Madison, KS 66860).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of the funeral home.
