He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Dale and Mildred Aileen Collie (Carlson) of Topeka; and his niece Kelsey Heston. He is survived by: his wife Leta Sippel; his children, Adrienne Olejnik (Neil) of Rossville and Andrew Collie (Robin) of Kansas City; his granddaughters, Grace and Reese Olejnik; and his sister Debra Heston (Fred) of Derby, KS.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Topeka Baptist Church (3301 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Rochester Cemetery (1200 NW Menninger Rd, Topeka, KS 66618).
Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, Topeka Baptist Church or Save the Kitties (Derby, KS) and left at the church.
