He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Sanner and Harold Sanner; his wife Lee Becker; his children, Patti and Bob; and his granddaughters, Amy Stadler and Emily Sanner.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Sanner (Cathy), Barbara Sanner, Karen Stadler (Claude), Marilyn Segura, Amy Sanner Booth (Colin) and Steve Sanner (Dee); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Jackson Sanner; and his sister Donna S. Malkmus. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He later retired as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at the Menninger Foundation.
