With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edward Fitzgerald (Topeka, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie T. Fitzgerald and Lydia B. Fitzgerald (Kresie); his wife Carolyn Jean Kratochvil; and his siblings, Elizabeth Petersen (Betty), Eleanor Vance, Robert, Taylor, John, Calvin, Clair and Theodore Fitzgerald (Ted). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
