James Hopkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Hopkins of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hopkins and Mildred Hopkins; his siblings, Bill, Irene, Jack "Bud" and Peggy; and his son James L. Hopkins Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Irene Adams; his sons, Kenneth Hopkins and Thomas Hopkins; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Buchanan; his grandchildren, Sarah and Doug; and his pets, Sunshine and Shadow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blood Cancer United and sent in care of the funeral home.
