With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Decker of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on August 4, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Decker and Catherine Decker (Dempsey); his siblings, Garland, Leo, Floyd, Mary and Maxine; and his great grandchild Colten.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann (Walker); his children, Cathy, Mike (Kathy), Patrick and John (Lisa); his grandchildren, Trudi (Shawn), Nyk (Tina), Tashina (Kyle), TJ, Jessica (Ty) and Katlynn; and his great grandchildren, Chance, Casi (Morgan), Kris, Calina, Cooper, Robbie and Riley.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jim's memory to St. Matthew Catholic Church / American Diabetes Association and/or Midland Hospice Care.
