James Simons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 93, James Simons of Topeka, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Simons to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Simons (Hohn) and Walter Simons; his siblings, Bob, Bud Simons, Katie Morris, Peggy Heptig, Alice Bauer, Annie Mayer, Jessie Russell and Eleanor Slusser; and his stepgranddaughter Sarah Roach.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary (Werner); his sister-in-law Lorraine Werner; his grandchildren, Abby Faerber (Andrew), Mitchell Jennings (Emma) and Molly Heady (Chris); and his stepgrandchildren, Hillary Roach and Drew Roach (Emily). He is also survived by five great granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mater Dei Parish or Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and may be sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka, KS 66614.
