He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence George and Francis Ellen Mitchell (Bean); his children, Daniel Mitchell and Ann Mitchell; and his siblings, Bud Mitchell, Shirley Monthey and Sharon Tipton.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory M. Mitchell (Joanne) of Topeka and Patric S. Mitchell (Lori) of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell (Michelle) and Amy Shotts (Jesse).
