She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gabriel and Ruby Ellen Ivet Tobin; her husband Bob; her son-in-law Bob Hoppas; and her siblings, George "Ed" Tobin, James Tobin, Sister Mary Jacqueline Tobin and Sarah Hanes.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Banister (Therese), Jerry Banister (Lorrie), Julie Hoppas and Robert Banister (Stacey); her grandchildren, Paul Banister (Kisha), Katie Banister (Eric Smith), Wendy Hines (Garrett), Christy Bellifemine (Brian), Alicia Banister, Jason Hoppas (Sheri), Bryan Hoppas (Michelle), Derek Hoppas, John Banister (Cheyene) and Hayley Keck (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Henry, Annabelle, Liam, Max, Dylan, Dalton, Dayton, Adison, Aiden, Sam, Xavier, Sophia, Nick, McKinley, Bennett, Charlotte and Hadley; her sister Mary Johnson of Emporia; and her caregiver Brewster Place of Topeka.
