He was predeceased by: his father Edward Thomas; and his stepfather Larry Davin. He is survived by: his mother Betty Thomas (Daugherty); his children, Casey Thomas, Luke Shoemaker and Jaugger Thomas (Ashley); his grandchildren, Alexis, Jace and George; his stepmother Diane Thomas; and his siblings, Joleen Rector (Jay), Roger Davin (Wanda), Tom Davin (Robin), Pam Kirkwood (George), Gayle Hutsell (Jeff), Darren Hoover and Tracci Hoover. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
