He is survived by: his wife Sandra Franklin; his children, Renard Seals, John Franklin, Jr. (Melissa), Kevin Franklin (Chrystal), Joshua Franklin, Lakesha Franklin, Tenika Franklin, Rebecca Mills (Willis) and Racheal Franklin; his siblings, Hattie Franklin, Ford Franklin, Jr. (Angie), Roberta Jolly, Donna Franklin and Kathy Franklin; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Harrell, Sharon Lipscomb (Barry), Dennis Nelson (Cheryl), Bobby Brooks (Gina) and Kenneth Brooks. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
