He is survived by: his wife Sheila Marie Weick; his children, Jessica (Shane), Janelle (Judah) and Nicholas; his grandchildren, Ophelia, Shane Jr., Silas and Francesca; and his siblings, Vincent Gonzalez and Cathy Heit (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
