He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Coleman Kester and Ford; his wife Cheryl Kester; and his stepbrother William "Bill" Coleman. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet, Bill, Judy, Phyllis, Marsha and Betty Brooks (Independence); his stepsisters, Janet Barnhard, Judy Ford, Phyllis Miller and Marsha Carder; his grandchildren, Ian, Colby, Amanda, Thomas, Abbey, Jeffery, Callie, Zane, Regan, Levi and Joshua; his great grandchild Ronin John; Amy Kester-Niehaus (Craig), Kate Grover (Michael), Bonny Kester and Kara Fairbanks. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, three nieces and several step-nieces and nephews.
