It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hovorka of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Dr. Joseph John Hovorka and Edmonia Lee "Eddie Lee" (Colvin); and his siblings, Mary, Sally and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, John Hovorka (Wendy), Anna Ramirez (Michael), Susan Martin (Scott) and Mary Brazier (Mark); and his grandchildren, Maureen, Zach, Gus (Julia), Joseph, Jack, Max (Ale), George of Gloria, RJ, Rachel, Con and Viggo. He is also survived by his wife: children: grandchildren.
