Karen touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Karen’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sanford and Irene Sanford (McMinn); and her siblings, Don Sanford, Galen Sanford, Larry Sanford and Diana Guffey.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Paula), Rex Werts (LuAnn) of Bella Vista, Timothy Werts of Topeka and Patti Ericson of Lake Wabaunsee; and her brother Danny Sanford of Lecompton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Northland Christian Church.
