It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen Atwood (Topeka, Kansas) is shared. Kathleen, born on February 22, 1948, passed away on May 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlyn Laird and Marjorie Laird; and her half-brother Michael Eakes. She is survived by: her husband Karl Atwood; her children, Staci Olson, Susan Gonzalez and Colby Atwood; her stepson Tony Tyson; and her siblings, Karen Benson and Kenneth Laird (Kim). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren as well as 4 great grand children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be made either to Phoenix Hospice (2945 SW Wanamaker Dr) or your local Girl Scouts.
