He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kingman and Twila Kingman (Eisele); his son Shane Kingman (Robin); and his siblings, Richard, Norma, Harriette, Linda and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lee Carriger; his children, Patrick Kingman (Jeannette) and Annalisa Kingman; his grandchildren, Brian Pollard (Tara), Lincoln Owens (Frank), Chandler Kingman and Dominic Kingman (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Lawrence, Haisley Pollard, Leonidas, Isiah Owens, Sutton Kingman and Kaiden Gardner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rochester Cemetery (1200 NW Menninger Rd, Topeka, KS 66618).
After that he worked for Washburn College and later retired from the Capper Foundation.
