He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbie Cowan and Verna Cowan (Lucas). He is survived by: his son David Cowan; his grandchildren, Sarah Cowan and Matthew Cowan; his great grandchild Kendal; and his sister Donna Wiseman (Marv). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
