He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Herbers and Pauline Frischenmeyer Herbers; and his brother Robert Herbers. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Ojile; his daughters, Shannon Peavler (Mike) and Shelly Blanding (Mitch); his grandchildren, Danielle Peavler, Whitney Maniscalco (Michael), Brooks Peavler (Rachel), Brent Peavler, Brianna Blanding and Dalton Blanding; his great grandchildren, Quinn, Emma and Vincent; and his brothers, Don Herbers (Mona), Tom Herbers (Shirley) and Chuck Herbers (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church or the Kansas Troopers Foundation and sent in care of the funeral home.
