She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Laurie Cummings VanLiew and Marshall Benedict VanLiew; her brother Roy H. VanLiew; and her former husband Dr. Gordon S. Leonard. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Anne Leonard and Dr. Valerie L. Leonard Quest; her sister-in-law Vicky VanLiew; Steve Vonnahme and Jean Pierre Salazar. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
