We announce the death of Lowell Wendland (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 100. Lowell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wendland and Martha Steenbock Wendland; his wife Edna Faith Wendland; and his siblings, Enola Keil and Eldon Wendland.
He is survived by: his children, Constance "Coni" Walters (Bill) of Kansas City, Missouri and Mark Wendland (B. J.) of Reisterstown, Maryland; his grandchildren, Christopher Walters (Jordan), Amber Wendland and Tyson Wendland; his great grandchildren, Dilynn Walters and Lorelai Walters; and his sisters, Leona Bacon, Iola Mullins (Loren) and Wanita Dammann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
