Lura Sue Reeves Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lura Sue Reeves of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian "Bud" East and Floydia June East (Welch); her spouse Edd Reeves; her brothers, David, Gerald and Buddy East; and her stepson Keith Morris.
She is survived by: her brother Clint East (Becky) of Zenda, KS; her sons, Tony Lee Lightcap (Christina) of Broken Arrow, OK and Torey Lynn Lightcap (Jacqueline) of Topeka, KS; her stepchildren, Matthew Reeves (Pam) of Wake Forest, NC, Megan Eurton (Cayle) of Wichita, KS and Diana Morris; and her grandchildren, Blake Lightcap, Gabriel Lightcap, Julianna Lightcap, Benjamin Reeves, Tyler Reeves and Brooke Cink.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Sue's memory to the Prairie Project c/o St. Stephen's Episcopal Church at the above address.
