He is survived by: his wife Trish; his children, Brandi McGivney (Tom) of Abilene, Brent of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Derek (Regina) of Abilene; his brothers, Robert Jr. (Arlene) of Jefferson and Stanley (Diane) of Shawnee, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Tanner McGivney (Sadie), Calder McGivney, Makenna McGivney, Tearney McGivney, Jentree McGivney, Mylee McGivney, Creyton Berns, Brysen Berns and Raylee Berns; and his great grandchild Rowan McGivney.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home (414 NW 3rd St, Abilene, KS 67410). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Abilene Community Bible Church (1400 N Cedar St, Abilene, KS 67410).
