She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edmond and Myrtle Edith Renard (Hundley); her son Michael Lee Knoettgen; her grandson Cory A. Gant; and her great grandchildren, Karl and Kasper Manring.
She is survived by: her children, Charles R. Allen (Lydia), Kim R. Tate, Veronica Kay Shipp and SuZanne Gant (Tony); her grandchildren, Scott Allen (Cristin), Kelly D. Manring (Cody), Ashley Basse-Lusebrink (Thomas), Paul M. Knoettgen (Rachel), Abby Knoettgen, Elizabeth Knoettgen, Richard W. Sisson (Stephanie), Tony M. Gant, Jr., Jason B. Shipp, Marci Gudenkauf (Ian) and Andrew T. Shipp (Julie); and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Claire, Kelso Manring, Ava, Eli Allen, Julia, Finn Knoettgen, Samuel Basse-Lusebrink, Addyson, McKenna, Olivia Shipp, Grayson, Sawyer Gudenkauf, Brody, Beckham Shipp, Tiara Gant and Riley Sisson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Topeka Baptist Church (3301 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66614). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at the West Lawn Memorial Gardens (820 SW Auburn Rd, Topeka, KS 66615).
Memorial contributions can be made in Mary's memory to Midland Hospice Care in care of the funeral home.
