We announce the death of Mary M. Roever of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 84. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mary will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Mary will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Mary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry August William and Meta Middendorf (Buth). She is survived by: her husband Bill Roever; and her siblings, Lois Law (Larry), Naomi Glynn (Jim) and Paul Middendorf (Debi).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (901 SW Fillmore St, Topeka, KS 66606). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (901 SW Fillmore St, Topeka, KS 66606). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to either St. John's Lutheran Church or to Midland Care Hospice.
