It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Paul Daugherty of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marci L. Higgins; and his brother Aaron Peet. He is survived by: his parents, Paul E. Daugherty and Jodi E. Daugherty (Nelson); his children, Hannah Daugherty, Hayli Daugherty and Lacy (Andrew Weber); his grandchildren, Preston, Theodore and Saylor; his brother Thad (Kristina Daugherty); his nephew Ronin; his niece Lyla; his stepfather Jimmy Peet; and his girlfriend Audrey Gossard.
