With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Lynn Shelton (Topeka, Kansas), born in Amarillo, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 79. As Michael departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Smith and Bessie Smith; and her siblings, Andy and Raylene. She is survived by: her siblings, Patsy Crow-Leon (Ralph), Ronald Smith (Anita), Jody Smith (Lorann) and Kevin Smith; her children, Mike Campbell (Kim), Dana Campbell (Curtis), Shaun Shelton-Bettencourt (Matt), Darla Campbell-Barrick (Billy) and Johnny Campbell (Laura); and her husband Sherman Shelton. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and countless nieces.
