He was predeceased by: his parents, John "JC" McDonald and Dorris "Dody" Fines; and his brother Robert McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Denise "Dee" McDonald; his daughters, Ashley Burns (John), Taylor Cowen (Joshua) and Tarsha Rafferty (Shawn); his grandchildren, Ellison Cowen, Atlee Cowen and Taylor Rafferty; and his brothers, Patrick and Dennis McDonald. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
