He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kaufman and Rose Cook Kaufman. He is survived by: his children, Michael Kaufman (Leslie) of Topeka, Sheri Shoemaker (Darryn) of Olathe, Anne Kaufman of Topeka and Donna Gebhardt (Jon) of Junction City; and his brother Marlyn "Sonny" Kaufman of Russell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
