She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallisch and Mayme Alice Wallisch (Spiker); her son Rodney "Rod" Alan Chmidling; her husband James "Jim" Clark, Jr.; her brothers, Jack Wallisch (Pat) and Forrest Wallisch; and her brother-in-law Orville Dodson.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Chmidling and Sherry Umscheid (Dave); her stepchildren, Laura Danielson, David Clark, Timothy Clark and Bruce Clark; her sister Melba Dodson; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Wallisch.
